[英文] 深入探討字彙系列”while”

喬今天要分享的是探討while的分享。似乎很多人以為while只有與when相等，但其實不然。今天的分享就替各位同學把這字彙透徹了解一番！

☛ 在…期間; 與…同時 = When

e.g. While I was dancing, they took pictures of me.

當我在跳舞的時候，他們拍我的照片

☛ 而; 然而

e.g. Max is fond of running while Caroline is fond of swimming.

麥克斯喜歡慢跑，而凱瑞蘭喜歡游泳

☛ 雖然; 儘管 = Although

e.g. While Americans generally do not speak Japanese, they are obsessed with the famous anime, Naruto.

儘管美國人一般來說不會說日文，他們仍對很有名的動漫「火影忍者」著迷

☛ 消磨(時間)，輕鬆地度過 + away

e.g. Caroline whiled away the whole afternoon making her cupcake business plan.

凱瑞蘭花了一整個下午來計畫她的杯子蛋糕生意

◆當名詞(Noun)

☛ 一會兒，一段時間

e.g. Do not worry! I will be back in just a while.

不用擔心！我只要一會兒就回來了！
