arson (n.) 縱火(罪); 放火(罪)

[the crime of intentionally starting a fire in order to damage or destroy something, especially building]
例: A cinema was burnt out in north London last night. Police suspect arson.
昨晚倫敦北部一家戲院被焚毀，警方懷疑有人縱火

rape (n.) 強暴; 強姦
[to force someone to have sex when they are unwilling, using violence or threatening behavior]

例: She was pulled from the car and raped.
她被拉出車外，遭到強姦
例: It’s difficult to understand what causes a man to rape.
很難理解是什麼原因導致一個男人犯下強姦罪行

smuggle (V.) 走私; (常指)非常偷運

[to take things or people to or from a place secretly and often illegally]
例: She was caught trying to smuggle 26 kilos of heroin out of/into the country.
她在企圖把兩萬六千克的海洛因走私出境/入境時被抓獲
例: They managed to smuggle a videotape of the captive journalists out of the prison.
他們設法把被俘記者的錄影帶偷偷帶出監獄

[an illegal plan for making money]

例: an insurance scam 保險詐騙

forgery (n.) 偽造品; 贗品; 偽造罪

[an illegal copy of a document, painting, etc. or the crime of making such illegal copies]
例: These banknotes are forgeries.
這些鈔票是偽造的
例: He increased his income by forgery.
他透過製造偽造品來增加收入

[to change something, such as a document, in order to deceive people]
例: The certificate had clearly been falsified.

fraud (n.) 詐欺(罪)
[the crime of getting money by deceiving people]

例: credit card fraud 信用卡詐騙
例: He is fighting extradition to Hong Kong to face trial on fraud charges.
他正在力爭免於被引渡到香港就詐騙指控接受審判

bribe (V.) 賄賂; 用財路買通別人; 收買
[to try to make someone do something for you by giving them money, presents or something else that they want]

例: He bribed immigration officials and entered the country illegally.

例: They bribed the waiter to find them a better table.

plagiarize (V.) 瓢竊; 抄襲
[to use another person’s idea or a part of their work and pretend that it is your own]

例: The book contains numerous plagiarized passages.
該書有許多段是抄襲的

例: If you compare the two books side by side, it is clear that the author of the second has plagiarized (from the first).
如果你把兩本書放在一起比較，就會發現第二本書的作者顯然是抄襲了(第一本書)
