☛ character (n.) 角色 【fictional 虛構的】
小說、卡通、動畫中的虛構角色都是character。

e.g. Uchiha Sasuke is a well-known character in the Japanese animation, Naruto.
宇智波佐助是在日本動漫【火影忍者】中非常有名的虛構角色。

*character其他重要意思
[1] 個性; 性格
e.g. Being polite is a part of British characters.
對人禮貌是英國人個性的一部分

[2] 風格; 特色
e.g. I prefer a restaurant of a little character.
我偏好有點特色的餐廳

[3] 勇氣 ; 堅強
e.g. She has strength of character.
她很堅強


☛ person (n.) 人 【non-fictional 非虛構的】

e.g. She's an extremely kind person. 她是個非常親切的人
* in person 親自; 本人
e.g. If you can't be there in person, you will not be able to defend yourself.
如果你無法親自到場，你就即將無法替自己辯護


☛ figure (n.) 人物 【虛構或者非虛構皆可】

e.g. He became a figure known to everyone.
他成為一個大家都知道的人物

[1] 圖表; 圖解
e.g. Our textbooks have many figures. 
我們的教課書們有許多圖表

[2] 數字
e.g. How could you get these figures?
你怎麼得到這些數字的?

[3] 曲線; 外表
e.g. Caroline has an amazing figure.
凱瑞蘭有非常迷人的曲線

[4] 數量; 金錢
e.g. My work now commands great figures.
我的作品現在很值錢
